BRASSWOOD

Vineyards

Our Brasswood Cellars wine is known for exceptional terroir-driven wines from our estate vineyards located in St. Helena, Coombsville and Russian River Valley AVA’s. We source fruit from our own vineyards so that we may fine-tune our viticultural practices to match our winemaking style. As a boutique, small production winery, our collection is bottled and sold exclusively at our estate.

Join our allocation and/or reserve a tasting to experience our Cellars collection.

Philosophy

Our winemaking philosophy is entrusted to fourth generation Consulting Winemaker, Angelina Mondavi. Since beginning her career at age 10, Mondavi stepped into the forefront of a new generation of winemaking; her partnership with Brasswood Estate has been an evolutionary journey.

Working on every aspect of making the wine, from the vineyard through vinification, Mondavi’s influence reflects her expertise and historic lineage in winemaking.

Brassrock Vineyard

Our first Estate-owned vineyard is located in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley, snuggled against the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountain Range. It is planted to the Bordeaux red varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, and Malbec. Roughly ten acres, this vineyard is slightly sloped with exposure mainly to the northeast which allows the fruit to ripen slowly and develop complex aromatics and supple tannins.

Russian River Valley Vineyard

Our 30 acres of beautiful vineyard planted to premium Pinot Noir and Syrah lie in the heart of the Russian River Valley AVA. Our wines reflects the perfect cool, foggy growing climate of the Russian River Valley, which when combined with an amazing complexity of soil types, results in rich, earthy flavors and bright acidity.

North Crystal Springs

Our newly acquired Crystal Springs estate sits on the Eastern side of St. Helena. With six acres planted to Sauvignon Blanc, one can truly taste the minerality of volcanic rock, red Aiken clay, and loamy soils.

Los Carneros

Our Chardonnay hails from the Los Carneros appellation. The varied marine soils, gently sloped terrain, and cooler growing conditions due to the proximity of the San Pablo Bay make this an ideal locale for growing aromatic and rich Chardonnay.
